In response to inquiries for additional practice in handling "Chem 112 type" problems, the following set of problems has been generated. These problems have been culled from old tests, old problem sets, old texts, issues generated from research work, etc.
If and when you have used up all other sources of practice and you are looking for more, you can try your hand at the set of questions which follow. It is not intended that these questions be representative of everything which could be asked on tests and exams. Indeed, you'll find questions on material which we've not specifically covered in detail in the class, but which are worth looking at if you are looking for more places to practice. It is hoped that these questions will prove helpful, especially in the oftentimes difficult steps of :
1 actually deciding what kind of problem is being presented
2 -- translating the presented words into the appropriate mathematical symbolism
